(.863, 2001) and On-Base Percentage (.582, 2002).

In 2002, Barry silenced his
critics with a monster
postseason. In the Giants run to the World Series,
Barry batted .356 with 8 HR's, 16 RBI, 18 Runs and 27
BB's.

Barry has won 6 MVP's (1990,
1992-93, 2001-03) and 8 Gold Gloves (1990-94, 1996-98). He has also finished
2nd in the MVP voting twice (1991, 2000)

For his 500th HR, Barry smashed a
game-winning,
two-run shot into McCovey Cove to beat the rival
Dodgers.

the Giants out of
high school, but opted for college ball instead. He
was later drafted by the Pirates.

Barry is the sole member of the
500 HR-500 Steals
club. He joined the club on June 23, 2003 by swiping
second base off of the Dodger's Eric Gagne in the 11th
inning. In true Bonds fashion, he then scored the
winning run.
